David Tieche understands community. He’s has been a high school English teacher, a youth pastor, the leader of a large church ministry for college and young professionals, a newspaper journalist and a waiter at the Carolina Road House Bar and Grill in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He’s helped and counseled hundreds and hundreds of young people navigate through the confusing twists and turns of life, so he knows how to help. His recipe is simple: he starts with his humor, mixes it together with equal parts Biblical wisdom and truth and then gently folds in real-world practical examples, dusts it with the powdered sugar of optimism, and serves it with a side of “I’m-here-to-help” honesty. That cooking metaphor got out of hand, didn’t it? Yeah. It did.
